Kazuhito Yamashita is a phenomenal artist with an astounding command of the guitar. His almost 75 recordings and numerous original arrangements of such works as Mussorgski's Pictures at an Exhibition, Stravinsky's Firebird, Rimski-Korsakov's Scherezade and Dvorak's Symphony of the New World have become a legend within guitar circles. He will be joined by his children for the U.S. premiere of "Kasane", a piece written for "Yamashita and Bambini" recalling ancient Japanese musical traditions.
