Repertoire
The SFIGC solicits world-class performances of contemporary and traditional works for the classical guitar. Competitors will be asked to perform two pieces from Dusan Bogdanovic's 'Book of the Unknown Standards', Monk-A-Ning and one other of their choice. Beyond the required pieces, competitors will have free choice of repertoire. No piece may be repeated.

Procedure
The Competition will consist of two rounds on consecutive evenings. Judging will be cumulative over the two nights. Each player will have a maximum of 30 minutes of stage time each night. During each performance timing will begin at the outset of the first selection. The performances will be held at the University of San Francisco's Presentation Theater on November 19, 2004 and at the California Palace of the Legion of Honor on November 20, 2004. Both sessions will begin at 8:00pm and will be open to the public.

Accommodations will be provided for all competitors.
