Brava Theater Center

Built in 1926 as a vaudeville house, the historic York Theatre was purchased by Brava in 1986. Brava restored the 364 seat theater, added a state of the art sound system and it has become a center for culture in San Francisco’s vibrant Mission District.

PARKING
Parking Available at San Francisco General Hospital, 23rd and San Bruno. From Brava Theater Center, continue on 24th Street to Potrero Avenue. Turn left on Potrero, and continue to 23rd Street. Turn right on 23rd, the garage will be on your right hand side between Utah and San Bruno.
DIRECTIONS
From BART: Take BART to the 24th Street station. Exit station and walk east down 24th street (15 min walk)
From 101 South (Marin): Take 101 South to SF (Over Golden Gate Bridge). Turn RIGHT onto VAN NESS AVE/ US-101. Continue to follow VAN NESS AVE. (3.5 miles). Turn LEFT onto 24TH ST.
From 80 (East Bay): Take 80 to SF (Over Bay Bridge). I-80 W becomes US-101 S. Take the CESAR CHAVEZ ST exit. Bear Right on POTRERO AVE. Turn LEFT onto 24TH ST.
From 101 North (Peninsula): Take US-101 N toward SAN FRANCISCO. Take the CESAR CHAVEZ ST/POTRERO AVENUE exit. Bear Left on POTRERO AVE. Turn LEFT onto 24TH ST.
